Marbella Club at Candelero Point

Palmas del Mar, Puerto Rico

Candelero Point Partners
150 units | 10 acres

This luxury resort development provides spectacular ocean panoramas, as well as views of the adjacent golf course. Five buildings, built as Type I concrete construction, offer five levels of residential units over one level of below-grade parking. Each building has its own tower design reminiscent of Spanish Revival architecture. Courtyard-oriented buildings and pedestrian linkages to the adjacent neighborhood park further reflect the Spanish village atmosphere. Forecourts to the building act as front doors offering a sense of arrival, while terraces offer indoor/outdoor lifestyle opportunities for residents.

A new public park has been added, providing access to the public beach on one side, with the other having a private beach club for the members of the resort. The project is consciously located farther back from the beach to protect the indigenous species of migrating turtles and the existing palm trees. The Marbella Club’s design also incorporates a hurricane protection system. Project amenities include gated entry, concierge services, and secured parking.
