Potter’s Lane is an innovative housing development that tackles the crisis of veteran homelessness. This sustainable and energy efficient facility is comprised of 15 separate units for veterans, one unit to accommodate an onsite manager, additional meeting rooms for individual and group counseling, veteran liaisons, and employment programs. To reduce costs and expedite construction, the SVA team utilized modified steel shipping containers, transforming the units into intimate, comfortable, and aesthetically-pleasing homes. Potter’s Lane provides veterans with a healthy environment that gives them the stability they need to get back on their feet.
