600 beds | 127,000 sq. ft. | 22,000 sq. ft. of retail

South Campus Plaza functions as a dynamic gateway between the university population and the greater San Diego community. Offering 600 beds of university-managed campus housing alongside various street-level retail developments, the complex is designed to serve both the campus and the surrounding neighborhoods. Residents can forgo the necessity of driving to another location for basic services, with a grocery store and other mixed commercial services located at street level. This project embodies SDSU’s commitment to sustainability by incorporating attractive pedestrian walkways, safe and convenient access to the SDSU Transit Center, and numerous bicycle paths and storage areas. Moreover, a public green space invites residents and extended community members to relax, intermingle, and study. This project is LEED Silver certified.
