SVA provided site master planning and architectural design services for the 120-acre Falaj Hazza community town center, a destination for the university and surrounding community with retail spaces, restaurants, a child care facility, primary school, mosque and recreational amenities. Approximately 200 units of 2- and 3-story graduate student housing and 150 units of faculty housing is provided, as well as academic houses and renovation of president’s and dean’s villas. Graduate student housing consists of apartments for singles and multi-unit residential buildings for families, plus faculty condominiums, town houses, and single-family homes ranging from 1,200 to 2,500 sq. ft.
