SVA Architects’ Oakland Office Moves to Larger, Uptown Location

SVA’s Recent Growth Necessitates More Office Space

Santa Ana, CA, May 23, 2017 – SVA Architects is pleased to announce its recent move to a new, larger office in Oakland, CA. Now located at 2335 Broadway, Suite 301, Oakland, CA 94612—a site also known as “The Hive”—SVA hosted an open house late last month. SVA’s much-needed move to a larger Oakland office comes as the firm expands to keep up with its growing demand.

Located at “the Hive,” SVA’s new office is in the Uptown District, an urban pocket with cafes, galleries, and historic landmarks.The Hive brings together specialty restaurants, co-working space, and walk-up style apartments—all situated on one square block designed to enhance culture and strengthen the community.

SVA’s Oakland office, led by Bradley, is now well positioned to continue expanding.The Oakland office not only serves Oakland, Berkeley, and Albany, it is also serving clients in Fremont, San Jose, Monterey, San Rafael, and Sacramento. A few current projects include The Residences at Berkeley Plaza, Horner Middle School, Alameda Shipways, Faculty and Staff Housing at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with AMCAL Housing, and a recent win of Ohlone Community College District’s first Public and Private Partnership development with SteelWave. SVA is also responsible for the award-winning design of La Escuelita Education Center in Oakland.
