Background
William Koster has steered the SVA team toward the successful completion of key projects ranging from high-rise residential developments to office, commercial, institutional and civic projects. BIll is responsible for coordination and preparation of design and construction documents and provides general direction to major project consultants, including shop drawing reviews, field questions and observation during construction.
Bill is regarded as one of architecture’s leading technical experts and practitioners of Building Information Modeling (BIM), a powerful software program that aids in the rendering, design and management of large construction projects. As a result, SVA can provide superior service to our clients, reduce change orders and errors, and expedite the completion of projects. Bill has found that using BIM also allows for easier integration of the multiple skill sets that SVA brings to architecture, design, and construction projects. In addition, he has found BIM to be a useful tool in explaining and illustrating concepts and processes to clients who are able to clearly see the overall design and any design changes that have been made.
