A former shipbuilding and repair site, this waterfront revitalization project brings 329 one-, two-, and three-bedroom rental units to an 8-acre parcel. Our design emphasizes community, sustainability, and affordability, with 74 affordable-by-design one-bedroom units and 40 inclusionary units slated for occupation by low to moderate income households. A subterranean garage offers 511 parking spaces along with EV charging capabilities, storage lockers, bicycle storage, a pet salon and vehicle sharing service. Above ground, the Alameda Shipways development has a variety of amenities including a fitness center, heated swimming pool and spa, meeting rooms, resident work spaces, and a rooftop terrace offering dramatic bay views. At the waterfront, beautiful parklands encourage outdoor recreation, and a public kayak rental concession makes exploration of the waterways available to residents and visitors.
