Chula Vista, CA

570 Units | 128 Hotel Keys

The design for the Chula Vista E Street Station T.O.D. serves an intergenerational population with quality housing and a holistic mobility hub. Sited across the street from a rail transit station, the project is composed of a Senior Affordable complex (152 units), a Family Affordable Building (195 units), a Market-Rate Wrap Building (223 units), and a Business Hotel (128 keys). Complementing these spaces are a variety of courtyards, gardens, recreation, and lounge spaces. The Village Green anchors the site as a primary socializing area between the Senior and Family Affordable buildings. The Market-Rate Wrap Building and Garage will be topped by a Roof Garden that features an active recreation space. The site design also accommodates the variety of transportation and mobility needs. The four-level parking garage includes 370 spaces and site includes an additional 89 uncovered parking spaces. Two rideshare drop-offs will be included, along with the Transit Plaza, which incorporates the existing bus drop-off and will feature a micromobility station that serves city-owned bicycles and scooters.
