The campus’ new design allows the school to house 600 students in grades K-5, including 20 general purpose classrooms, four kindergarten classrooms, and one Resource Specialist Program (RSP) room. This vital project ensures that Oxnard School District can continue to provide a high-quality public education to the children of the community.
The project included the demolition of the existing school and construction of a new school on the existing 6.6-acre site. Elm has been reconfigured to serve up to 770 students in grades K-6 including 20 general purpose classrooms, four kindergarten classrooms, and one Resource Specialist Program room. The new Elm campus was constructed during occupancy. Additionally, the new campus contains specified support facilities, administration areas, media center, food service, multipurpose room, physical education spaces, and restrooms.
