With soldiers living in deteriorating army barracks from the Korean War era, Fort Campbell was in dire need of an updated space. Our team designed enough units to house 448 junior enlisted soldiers and 40 junior non-commissioned officers. This also included work on several supporting facilities including, but not limited, to information systems, electric services, alarm systems, walkways, road access, and site improvements. The building, as well as its access points for individuals with disabilities, met the DOD’s Minimum Anti-Terrorism Standards and was provided with comprehensive interior design services for. The new housing design brings Fort Campbell into the 21st century, providing adequately sized utilities that meet current safety codes and energy standards.
