Hermosa Beach City School District

Hermosa Vista School is an existing school site owned by the Hermosa Beach City School District with six existing permanent buildings and 13 existing relocatable classroom buildings plus one relocatable restroom building. As part of the project, two existing permanent buildings (buildings B and F) and a portion of Building A will be demolished to make way for new construction, along with all the existing relocatable buildings. A new addition to the multipurpose building (Building A) will house a new kitchen, and two new buildings will be constructed – a new kindergarten building at the north edge of campus, and a new two-story building built into the slope against prospect with admin, library and classroom spaces. In total, the re-built campus will have 7 kindergarten classrooms, 15 general classrooms for grades 1 and 2, a library and a tech/Sparks lab.
