Sonoma State University

The proposed Sonoma State University Student Housing establishes a community-wide gathering space that links to neighborhoods on the east and west. This design also creates a built environment that is supportive of the University’s residential life programs to foster the retention and graduation of students. A variety of floor plans are offered including studios, two-bedroom units and townhomes. Plans are efficient, yet airy and flexible, allowing multiple furniture arrangements in the living and bedroom areas. Each plan has nine-foot ceiling heights and has the ability for light and air on a minimum of two sides for cross-ventilation.
