The dynamic design of the UC Irvine Alumni Center is formal yet inviting, working in concert with the character of the existing campus to provide a vibrant hub for alumni activities. The building’s scale distinguishes it from the adjoining housing units, highlighting the building’s eminence and functioning as a gateway for the return to campus. A multi-functional plaza encourages alumni to gather beside the library and coffee shop, while an additional landscaped plaza provides a connection to the pre-function and conference rooms for social gatherings/fundraising activities. The UCI Alumni Center is designed to achieve LEED Silver certification.
